Relaxing, swimming, watching movies, sunbathing, pingpong, bicycling, BBQ. Walking through big trees you can also walk North or South on the river. Sitting on the deck watching the river go by and if you love bird watching we occasionally see Bald eagle. peregrine falcons, osprey, blue heron, egrets, redtail hawks,owls (Spotted owls) ,ducks ,robins and blue jays. Also through the years we have seen many wildlife creatures like deer, river otters, fish (Salmon) bear ,fox, squirrels, turtles, racoon, skunks, possoms and occasionally wild cats.
In Our Area
We will take you to our park so that you can canoe or tube home. Hike to Bear Harbor through an Elk preserve. Whale watching, hiking the Lost Coast, fishing deep sea rock cod, salmon, river trout..ect. golfing, gift shops take a driving tour through twenty six miles of our famous Avenue of the "Giants", Sinkione wilderness, Historic Benbow Inn and lake, Richardson grove Confession hill, Abalone diving, 4x4 off road movie shops, assortment of Resturants, Shelter Cove black sands beach surfing and much more!
